Thank you to everyone who helped with the funeral of Ziah Baker on Saturday. I know that the family appreciated all of the efforts on their behalf.

Also, Welcome home Sister Walker. We have missed you!

Our condolences go out to Whitney Mattox and her family. Whitney's 8 year old son passed away today. What a sweet little boy! Please keep them in your prayers.

Visiting Teaching Interviews

Thanks to everyone who came Tuesday and Wednesday for your Visiting Teaching Interviews. We so appreciate the time you took out to come and visit with us. Visiting teaching is such an important aspect of the Relief Society program. We, as a RS presidency, can never visit all of the sisters in our ward so we really rely upon you to visit the sisters you are assigned to. Elder Mark E. Peterson stated :


“You are Relief Society missionaries.  Be as Saviors on Mount Zion to your sisters.  Their souls are precious in the sight of God.  Don’t spare any effort to bring His sheep into the fold – the Savior did not!”

Happy New Year!

It is 2013! A new year always brings changes. One change for our ward is the new meeting time. For some it is good and for others-not so much. Sacrament Meeting starts at 1:00, Sunday School starts at 2:20, and Relief Society starts at 3:10. We will be studying the Doctrine & Covenants and Church History in Sunday School and The teachings from Lorenzo Snow on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays in Relief Society. This will be a great year!! Upcoming RS activities will be posted to check back often.
